Belleville CEO Student and CEO of MaxCraft Leatherworks Max Gilliland shared three key things that he learned in CEO this year in his final presentation. “The ability to network - I always knew how to meet and talk to people, but with the help of CEO I became much more successful in making new connections and interacting with others outside of my circle. I started using a planner - CEO greatly helped me with planning. Before this class, I rarely used a planner. I would just show up to school and do the homework. With CEO, we are given many assignments at once, and they all have separate due dates. This helped me gain a strength in my time management. I learned about core values - Before CEO I never put much thought into what goes on behind the scenes of local businesses. After being able to visit so many I learned that core values are the building blocks in every business.” Max will be attending University of Missouri where he will study business. His goal is to become a financial planner!
