Belleville CEO Student and CEO of Out of the Grae Sophia Eggers shared her three key things that she learned or accomplished in CEO in her final presentation. “I have learned to focus on my strengths and surround myself with those who do well at my areas of weakness. I have realized that I can’t be good at everything and no task can be done alone. Teamwork is important and something amazing can be accomplished when surrounded by the right people. I have learned the importance of showing up. Showing up to my responsibilities has made sure I am taking advantage of every possible opportunity given to me, especially when it comes to meeting new people. Learning the importance of showing up through CEO also plays into my day-to-day life because it reminds me to just show up to whatever task I may need to get done and make progress. I have accomplished starting my own business, Out of the Grae, and bringing in over $400 in profit. Starting my own business has taught me multiple important lessons and provided me with a head start into the business world.” Sophia is attending the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in the fall. She will be majoring in marketing and minoring in fashion.
