Today the Belleville CEO students welcomed Mr. Ed Horton, Owner of Dove Technologies and Horton Auto and Outdoor. Mr. Horton started off by having the students watch a very powerful video called If You Want To Change The World, Start Off By Making Your Bed by Naval Admiral William McRaven. Mr. Horton shared tips and suggestions that he has learned throughout his life as an entrepreneur. He talked about what success really is, the importance of networking even with your competitors, why co-marketing might be helpful, why it might be good to “stay in your own lane,” importance of learning from your failures and believing in yourself. Thank you, Mr. Horton, for spending the morning with us!
