About Me
Hello, I am a senior who is currently attending Althoff Catholic High School. I chose to join the CEO class because with it comes so many opportunities and you make many connections with people who thrive within the business world. Another reason I joined the program was because after the business classes I had previously taken, such as Business Management and Principals of Business, this class caught my eye as business has always peaked my curiousity. I am glad to say I am a part of this select group in the Belleville CEO class!

On Friday we met with Mr. Greg Bach at Gaslight Vinyl. This was probably one of my favorite places we have visited this year. Not only was the Vinyl wrapping really interesting but I also enjoyed Mr. Bach speaking to us a lot, because he was probably one of the most down to earth speakers we have. There are a lot of great people in the business world, but as one could imagine a lot of these people may come off as rather pretentious. But Mr. Bach was just really down to earth, and was very humble and did not put himself on a pedestal.

Tuesday and Wednesday were both relatively stressful days, because the realization really hit that time to get our pitches ready was really dwindling, and it was officially crunch time. I decided that rather than trying to memorize something that I'd probably forget anyway. So I decided that it'd be more natural if I just went in and talked about my business off the top of my head.
Thursday was the big day where we were to finally present our elevator pitches to the judges, and see what they think about it. I had sort of a risky strategy, just going off the top of my head but I felt more confident in that, as opposed to trying to memorize a script. Overall I felt like I did really well with the elevator pitch and I'm very excited to present the products at our business trade show on April 26th.
Friday was a rather relaxed work day as the only really notable thing was the announcement of the winners of the elevator pitch competition. Aside from that the class really just worked on their weekly journal and made some small bits of progress on their personal businesses.
So in final, this was another great week for our Belleville CEO class, and I'm so excited to see what's coming in the weeks left. I'm also very excited that the classes personal businesses are coming together so well, for the April 26th trade show, and all of the great ideas seem like they have a lot of potential, which is really cool to see.

Tuesday and Wednesday were both pretty similar days, in the sense that we met at Artigem and worked on our financials each day. The only difference really being that on Tuesday the banker came back, which like last week was a lot of help considering that I really had no idea what I was doing initially.
Finally on Thursday we went to Sips and Splatters where the owners spoke to us a lot about how the business and how the idea became a reality. I really enjoyed it because the establishment just had a really nice atmosphere, and it reflected in the idea that the business is based off of art and colors. Mr. Brandt told our class that the best question to ask yourself is, “Why do you want to do it?” I really thought that was interesting because the question seems rhetorical, but when you think about it it really applies to many different aspects of starting a business.

This short week for CEO began on Monday, where by meeting with Mr. And Mrs. Dunnigan at Trinity Financial. Next, on Tuesday we met Mr. Mike Wenzel at Artigem replacement services. On Wednesday we met at Artigem again with a couple of bankers to work on our financials. And finally on Thursday, we met at Artigem to work further on our personal balance sheets.
Like I said, on Monday we met at Trinity Financial. Here Mike Dunnigan spoke to us a lot about his job and the stock market. I really liked hearing from him, because after college I plan on becoming a broker. All of the things he talked about really interesting to me, and I'm glad that we were able to meet someone with such a career.
On Tuesday we met at Artigem with Mr. Mike Wenzel. Mike Wenzel is a CPA. He really interested me much like Mr. Dunnigan because both of their lines of work fall within the realm of finance which I plan to major in, in my time at SIUE.
On Wednesday we had a couple of bankers come in to help everyone individually with our financials. This was really helpful, because truth be told I did not have the slightest clue of what I was supposed to do on the spreadsheet. So their help was very gratefully appreciated.
Well in final, this was another great week for our Belleville CEO class, and I'm so excited to see what's coming in the weeks left. I'm also very excited that the classes personal businesses are coming together so well, and all of the great ideas seem like they have a lot of potential, which is really cool to see.

This was yet another truly exciting week for myself, as well as the rest of the Belleville CEO class! On Monday we met at Artigem to receive more help from Mrs. JoAnn DiMaggio-May. The next day we met back at Artigem where we had the opportunity to hear from Mr. Joe Wiley of Quest Management Consultants. On Wednesday, we met with Phil Hickman, at Associated Bank. Then on Thursday, we worked on our elevator pitches as a class with Mr. Patrick McKeehan. Finally on Friday, we met with Mrs. DiMaggio and one of her colleagues from SCORE to work further on our final business plans.
Like I said on Monday we met with Mrs. JoAnn DiMaggio again in order to present our business plans to her and figure out what should be changed. I thought it was really helpful, and I was able to change something's that I was unsure about on the business plan.
On Tuesday we met Mr. Joe Wiley at Artigem. In my opinion Mr. Wiley was one of the best speakers that we have heard from this year. Everything from his prestigious business to his history in sports, really captivated the class. Overall I'm really glad we had the opportunity to hear from him.
On Thursday we met back at Artigem, where Mr. Patrick McKeehan helped us prepare our elevator pitches for our personal businesses, in hopes that we can convince donors to help fund our business. I thought this was extremely helpful, because he really helped us think like the judges, and showed us what they're looking for when we present to them.
On Friday, we met with Mrs. JoAnn DiMaggio-May once again, as well as one of her colleagues from “SCORE.” This was a really helpful experience because this time we had two separate opinions of how our business plans should be put together. This gave us two sort of viewpoints of what should and shouldn't go into the plan, which I really liked.
Well in final, this was another great week for our Belleville CEO class, and I'm so excited to see what's coming in the weeks left. I'm also very excited that the classes personal businesses are coming together so well, and all of the great ideas seem like they have a lot of potential, which is really cool to see.

We began the week on Tuesday where we were able to hear a presentation from Mike Riley, who is the president at a Physical Therapy office. He talked about many things, for example the difference between a generalist and a specialist. As well as this he really stressed the importance of knowing your industry. It was really cool to have him come in and speak to us because physical therapy just seems different than a lot of the businesses that we heard from.
But on Friday I felt a lot better and was able to go to PPM, where I got to view a presentation from Jason Eding. Mr. Eding is the head of IT at PPM, and considering the amount of online privacy needed at PPM, I'd imagine that Mr. Eding really knows what he's doing there. In his presentation he spoke a lot on the importance of education and how it is the most vital tool that we have access too.
Overall this was yet another exciting week for the Belleville CEO. Program, and I am very excited to begin our personal businesses and see what is in store for the weeks to come, as we conclude this final year of our high school careers

This was yet another very exciting week for the Belleville CEO Program. We began the week on Tuesday with a pretty standard work day where we discussed a lot about the class business. On Wednesday JoAnn DiMaggio returned to assist us with forming our business plan, and she brought another SCORE member to discuss our personal business ideas with her one on one. On Thursday we had the opportunity to visit The Edge and hear the owners, Keith and Mary speak on their business. On Friday we had another work day, where we prioritized “ironing out” some of the issues with our class business.
Like I stated previously, on Wednesday JoAnn DiMaggio-May came back to help us on our business plan. We made a lot of progress on forming the business plan, and some students were even able to consult with her SCORE colleague about their personal businesses.
Thursday we had the opportunity to visit The Edge, where we got to meet the owners, Keith & Mary Schell. Upon arrival we were greeted and escorted to their extravagant bistro theater, where the spoke to us about many of the different aspects and logistics of their business. We also were told a lot about all of the major expansions they are planning on integrating into The Edge by July, which was very cool to hear about. After they concluded speaking we were given a small tour of some of their theaters and we were sorta shown how the theater works.
On Friday, we had a very productive work day, where we sort of cleared up a lot of the miscommunication that has occurred with forming our class business. This work day was very much needed to help solidify some of the plans for our event.
Overall this was yet another exciting week for the Belleville CEO. Program, and I, very excited to see how our event turns out and what is also for the weeks to come, as we conclude this final year of our high school careers.

This was yet another really good week for the CEO class. As we adjust to PPM (Precision Practice Management) being our new headquarters, after this long winter break, we still have quite a bit of work to do for our class business.
We began the week on Wednesday, where we met at Precision Practice Management for the first time, as it is our new home base. There we got to meet a few higher ups in the company where they mainly discussed how worldwide their company has become, and how it functions. After the talking we were then given a tour of their facilities and even got a sneak peak of the renovations that they are performing.
On Thursday we met back at Precision Practice Management, where we had sort of a reunion with former students of the Belleville CEO class who have since graduated. We discussed with them some of the many logistics of our class business, and how everything seems to be shaping up for it. They gave us some advice, and most of the advice spurred on criticisms of the gala that was hosted last year. So in a way a lot of the advice was to help iron out problems that occurred last year, in hopes that they won't recur this year.
On Friday we met back at Precision Practice Management once again. Where we got to talk with Ms. DiMaggio, some more. This time we took action to building our class project’s business plan in preparation to send a final one to Midland for approval. We made a lot of progress, but there is still much work to do.
Overall this was another great week for the program, and it was nice to have a new home base to come to after the long winter break that we just had. I'm very excited to see how the class business will pan out, and see what's in store for our class in the weeks yet to come.

This week was another full week of activity, games, and excitement. We are continuing to make strides in our class business as well as still learning more and more with every speaker. One of my favorite things about this class is how I learn something new every day. After every class, I walk out knowing that I have grown as a person, and I have grown in knowledge.
On Monday, John Perles from Midland Institute joined us. I love having the people from Midland come in. So far, they have been two of my favorite speakers. I really like the action plan that he showed us. I think it can be an essential tool in the growth of the class business. I also enjoyed making a personal and class mission statement. It is very good to stick to our mission statement. Everything we do should be judged if it fits in our core values. He also stressed the importance of setting goals and deadlines. As CEO, I have not stressed that enough.
On Wednesday, we went to FKG Oil. I really liked Mr. Badgley, and the whole building. I liked the old gas machines, and the other decorations. I like the Moto business. It is very good, and personally they are my favorite gas station to go to. I really enjoyed the presentation about the business. I was also very interested in how they determine the price of gas weeks in advance. Finally, the game of Jeopardy was extremely fun.
This week we had the first day where we went out to different businesses in search of donations and sponsorship. Overall, my group did very well. We had very promising conversations with managers, and they all seemed very excited and interested in our class. We got a free hotel room from the Hilton, and I was very excited about that. It really helped me develop skills speaking to people, and I found it very important to be straight forward and to the point.

As always this was yet another really exciting and productive week for the Belleville class this week, even though we never left Barcom to visit anywhere. Our week began with just two work days on Monday and Tuesday. While on Wednesday we had Wendy Witte come in to speak to our class. Then on Thursday we got the opportunity to speak with Mark Bartle at his establishment, Barcom. On Friday we ended the week productively with yet another work day. So now let's get more into detail on this past week’s activities, and how everything went.
Like I said we began the week with two very productive work days where we discussed things such as how we could get the word out to gain sponsorships and sales. Here I came up with a flyer that we could hand out to businesses. I showed it to a professional, Mike Crotty and he was very impressed with the flyer, and went as far as saying I could have a future in something of the nature. But some of the class didn't understand that flyers can't have too much on them because minimalism and and center-focus is what captures attention and inclines the viewer to read it in full. So they insisted that I add secondary info, and complained that it looked cluttered afterwards, which makes little to no sense considering it was their suggestion. I have learned a lot about this sort of thing because I have had to make advertisements for many things throughout my life, and my father has mentored me as he creates and organizes the advertisements for Fox News.
On Wednesday we had the opportunity to have Wendy Witte of The Greater St. Louis Community Foundation speak to our class at Barcom. Here she discussed many of the aspects that are entailed within her job, which is handling donations to the city of St. Louis . Here she explained to us about how the CEO class is a fund and receives charitable revenue.
On Thursday we met at Barcom and met the owner of the business. Mark Bartle, who is actually a very good family friend. He blew the class away when he described the scale of his business and described the growth over the years. This was really interesting, because it's crazy to think that a business in the small town of Belleville can have such a worldwide presence. I also enjoyed hearing about how the business sort of runs off of the morality of the employees and himself alike. To keep this heightened morality they remember two things, those being; Positive mental attitude and Good effort Good attitude and loyalty. Another resonating topic he went over was the importance of communication, which is debatably one of the most crucial assets of running a business in today's world.

As always it has been yet another really exciting week for our class as this 13th week has concluded. It's pretty crazy noticing that we’re already finished with the thirteenth week of the program, because time has really been flying. So if it keeps feeling like this the class project will be here quicker than we think!
We started off this exciting week by paying a visit to Governor French Academy in Downtown Belleville. This was honestly a really cool experience. It was really interesting to see how another school runs, especially one as small as this one. It almost felt like we got to be students there for the time we visited, as we stood and watched announcements and took a tour of their building.
The next two days were two well needed work days where we met at Barcom to discuss a plan more for our class show. We made a lot of progress, but I would say the biggest thing we accomplished during these two days was locking in on Ben Glenn. So overall I would consider these two work days to be successful.
On Thursday we met at TWM, which is an engineering group in Swansea. Here a few different people discussed the logistics of the business and many of the jobs that they have recently completed. I found all the technology and work that goes into these projects, to be incredibly interesting. It really made me think of how people created virtually anything before a lot of this advanced technology was available. They also went over their employee ownership plan where all of the TWM employees receive an equal number of shares in the company, as a benefit for working there. This I found to be really interesting, as they are the first company to discuss this sort of plan with us.
So in conclusion, like always this has been another really cool week to be apart of the CEO program, and we have recently made a lot of progress on the class project. But there is still a lot more progress that needs to be made before we can feel comfortable. Because I know February will be here much quicker than we think it will. Nonetheless I can not wait to see how our hard work will pay off at the show, given our current state of planning.

Even with the short end amount of days we had to meet this was yet another great week for the CEO class. In these short days we discussed decorations for the class busines, visited the owner of Fletcher's, and met once again with Cheryl Mitchell of Midland. All of which were really great and informative.
Like I said we began our week with meeting at Barcom to discuss and go over some of the decorations that have been proposed for our class show. We also had Michael Crotty come in to show us a prototype for the mini fountains we have been considering as a table top decoration. Overall we have really been putting in a lot of work, trying to create decorations to enhance the theme of, “Around The Fountain.”
On Tuesday we met at Fletcher's where we spoke with Derek Betz who is one of the two owners of the restaurant. Where we discussed a wide range of topics like supply and demand and the importance of location. The thing we discussed that resonated with me the most was the 1 minute reprimand and 1 minute punishment technique, because no matter what happens has happened so it's in the past and you can't linger on faults or successes to long because you have to keep moving forward.
On Wednesday we met back at Barcom, and got to speak with Cheryl Mitchell once again; this time being more in depth. She spoke about how the CEO class formed with Midland, and really stressed the growth of what the class has done and how widespread it now is. We also learned how lucky Belleville is to have this class, because it does not work right in many cities.
Like I said this week was very short, as we didn't have class on Thursday and Friday. But as always it was a really interesting, insightful, and informative week for the entire CEO class and I can't wait for next week!
11/11/2016
This was yet another truly exciting week for my class mates and myself for the CEO program. As we took a couple trips and slowly but surely made even more headway on our class event, as we have now narrowed down the search for a venue.
We began our week by paying a visit to Rauckman Utilities in Belleville. This was a really interesting visit as the owners were incredibly generous as soon as we stepped foot in the facility. It was awesome seeing all of their technology, like their 3D scanning and printing capabilities. Then we were given a tour of where their products are produced, and it is incredible once you realize how much technology and machinery goes into making all of these different products and pieces. Everything there really put in perspective of how far technology has come over the years and how it has helped many industries like production and distribution in the business world.
The rest of the week consisted of work days where we have narrowed down the possible venue to be the Scottish Rite in Belleville, near Memorial Hospital. There is still a lot of work to follow with the venue but as of now progress is progress, and we need to keep working. Now that we think we've decided the venue we can figure out really what we are capable of hosting as far as scale and capacity go.
In final this has been yet another exciting and productive week for the CEO class, and as always I can't wait to see what's in-store for the many weeks to come!
10/28/2016
This has been yet another incredible week for the Belleville CEO class. As we are now at Barcom Security, we have made even more headway on the class business, as well as meeting many more incredible individuals in the business world
At the start of the week, Hamilton Callison of Break Thru Beverage came to speak to our class. He did a great job of speaking to the class. It was really cool learning that he can find everyone who buys products from him, with help from their detailed purchase records.
On Thursday the class went to visit two of the potential venues that we have been looking at, so we can get an understanding of the pros and cons of where the class business will take place. The first place we checked out was the Shrine. The shrines venue was gorgeous but unfortunately it comes with a lot of minor expenses. The final place we visited was The Scottish Rights. This venue was great and even had a functioning fountain that suits our theme of “around the fountain.” Also they are willing to be lenient with the cost of renting the venue.
On Friday we went to CEO Empowerment Day in Collinsville, IL. Here we met man wonderful individuals and even had the opportunity to listen to White House Correspondent, Peter Maer, speak. It was awesome hearing stories of the presidents and important figures he had met in his time of being a White House Correspondent. All of his experiences he discussed were so incredible it'd be hard to even imagine.
In final this has been yet another truly incredible week for the Belleville CEO Program, and I am more than excited to see what in store for the weeks to come!
10/21/2016
This was yet another short week for our class do to Columbus day, but even with the day off this has been one of our most exciting and productive weeks yet. As we have made even more headway on our class business we have had a few more minor hiccups in the planning that still need to be ironed out. The location and date being the two most major at the moment
Tuesday we met Brian Mentzer once again and got to hear more about his family and personal business ventures that range all the way from airport storage centers to privately owned river barges. It's so cool and interesting to know that he has never even seen any of the barges he owns and never knows where they are but they still turn a sizeable profit for him! Not to mention he also owns a cumulative 362 units for his different storage companies, and 315 residential properties.
Next we paid a visit to the Greater Belleville Chamber Of Commerce, where we learned exactly what their duty is, and how they are able to help and connect the mostly local businesses with each other. We also gave them a small pitch about the event that we are putting together for our class business, and they sounded like they would be more than happy to assist us, and we hope we can build on that response.
On Thursday we got the opportunity to visit Kurt Artinger and Chris Oswald, at Peer 151 in downtown Belleville. Here Kurt told his very inspiring story of how he came up in the business world, and even talked about how his ADD has affected it. This really resonated with me as I also have diagnosed ADD so I know what it's like to have trouble focusing on one thing and then getting sidetracked to something else. I also thought Peer 151 is also a brilliant idea as a business as it provides companies with a place to use as an office and work out of if they choose not to have their own building, possibly because of cost or countless other reasons.
As the week concluded on Friday; the end of the quarter, we bid farewell to Allsup. Our new home base will be located at Barcom Security. For our last day at Allsup we discussed in depth about possible locations, and addressed many of the scheduling problems for our class business. The class and myself would like to greatly thank Allsup for allowing us to use their facilities to start of this year of the CEO program.
10/14/2016
As Week 7 has concluded, I can truly say that this was one of the best weeks for the CEO program. This past week has been packed with excitement and opportunity.
Our week began with JoAnn DiMaggio coming to speak with the class at Allsup. I really enjoyed this because it helped clear the water for a lot of the questions of starting a business that I had. So I'm very thankful that she was able to come and speak to the class.
On the next day we took a visit to the annual Trepstart presentation at Saint Louis University. The presentation was a really great experience, and I'm glad I had the chance to attend. It was incredible to see all the current and future young entrepreneurs gathered in one single convention. The key note speakers really resonated with me as they told their stories and how their businesses were built from the ground up by them.
The two days we went back to Allsup to develop and improve some of the aspects of our class project, and we've narrowed down the venue options quite significantly. We've made a lot of headway on the class project and I'm anxious to see how it will all turn out.
On Friday we had another sort of meet and greet with another set of our class mentors. I was more than grateful to meet all the wonderful business men and women. All of them showed so many great different traits and I'd be incredibly lucky to have any of them tour me through this year. It's going to be a difficult decision once the time comes but any of them will make a great mentor.
10/07/2016
This was yet another exciting week in the Belleville CEO program. We began the week by paying a visit to Auffenburg where Jamie Auffenburg briefly went over his business and the new and used car market as a whole. One thing he said that really hit me was that dealerships usually make less than three percent profit when selling a new car, and that a lot of the money comes from the parts and services portion of the dealership.
…At the very end of the week we met back at Allsup and invited a few of the soon-to-be class mentors, and got the opportunity to personally meet and mingle with each and every one of these wonderful people, who all have a vast knowledge of the business world. In conclusion this has been another fantastic week to be in the CEO program, and I cannot wait for the weeks to come!
09/30/2016
As this eventful fifth week of the CEO class comes to a close, I've reflected on so many of the things we learned when we visited all of the different businesses this week. I've learned so many insightful things this week that I hope I can fit them all into this journal.
We began our week by first, paying a visit to Kurrus funeral home where they described in depth, the different aspects of funerals, why they happen, and how they function. It was also incredible to hear that Kurrus was in its 6th generation. This is incredible because most businesses fail in their 2nd generation, and they are still going strong.
On Wednesday we visited Memorial Hospital in Belleville, where we were able to meet and talk to some of the higher ups, a listen to their thoughts and advice for the business world. One thing that blew my mind was that Memorial is the second largest employer in the area behind Scott Air Force Base, with over 2,800 employees! Also one thing they said that was very impactful was the saying, “Champions are made, not born.”
On the final visit of the week we went to Union Grade School, where we learned how a school runs almost identically to a business. We also learned about how important sponsors can be towards a community. Later we got the opportunity to meet and talk with the grade schoolers and learn about their lives. This was really cool because it's truly fascinating to think about how promising the future will be with all of these great minds in generations to come.
09/23/2016
This week of CEO we learned a lot about how much personality and attitude can affect business. Many people when they hear about business tend to overlook the fact that an owner or employee’s attitude is a major part of what makes a business appealing. A lot of light was shed on personality when we paid a visit to Holland Construction where Mike Marchal really stressed the importance of empathy and caring for their employees, to keep a light and fun atmosphere. One thing he said that really stuck with me was to allow failure. In business you should allow failure because it’s truly the best way to learn from your mistakes.
When we visited the District 201 Jeff Dosier discussed many noteworthy things along the lines of the reality of business, in the sense that there will always be stress and people will always disagree no matter what. Among these social issues in business, he mentioned to never address anything personally to a worker or owner because it creates tension in the workplace.
On the final day when we went to tour the Bank of Belleville Kevin Pesko said a lot of things that really caught my attention. Things like the importance of taking initiative in a business and to always make sure that you have a comfortable environment. In conclusion this was a very insightful week for me and the class as a whole. I’m eagerly awaiting the weeks to come, and see what’s in store for the CEO program.
09/16/2016
This second week of the Belleville CEO program was absolutely great, and we had the opportunity to meet many new people who thrive in the business world.
We began the week with a visit to Egyptian Stationers in downtown Belleville, owned and operated by Kevin and Brett Baltz. This visit was very informative as it is the first business we visited that sells a physical product. In this instance many different prices of office furniture and supplies. I was amazed when we were told about all the big names that they have done business with, and they are just a family owned local store!
The next day we paid a visit to Kaskaskia Engineering Group, which is just down the road from Egyptian Stationers. Kaskaskia Engineering was a great visit and the atmosphere felt very fresh upon entering, this was later explained that the rooms are colored differently to provoke different emotions within your brain. It was really interesting to find out there are special services to assist minorities within the business world. I loved hearing about all of the different projects in the area that they have helped working on the construction of.
On Thursday we had Ed Hoering from Clifton Larson Allen come to Allsup to talk about accounting and business as a whole. It was crazy to think someone who didn't really know what they wanted to do out of college, could climb their way up to such a thriving profession. It was really cool to hear about the differences between private and public accountants and how their jobs vary.
On Friday we drove all the way to Indiana to visit a family owned and operated theme park, known as Holiday World. I was really interested in learning the infrastructure of how the park operates on a day to day basis and how it has thrived over the many years it has been open.
09/02/2016
This first week of the Belleville CEO program was truly a unique and one of a kind experience that you truly just cannot get in a regular classroom. This first week really opened my eyes about how much more you can learn from experience as opposed to being taught by a teacher.
Having Lynn Clapp and Jim Schneider from Vertical performance come in was a fantastic opportunity for everyone in the class to get to know, and be comfortable around each other. I had been friends with a few of the classmates prior to the activities, but they really helped bring the whole class together, and acclimated everyone with different styles of problem solving. I deeply appreciate Vertical Performance visiting, because I feel it's a key factor for students to be able to sufficiently communicate amongst each other.
It was also fantastic to hear the insight and history behind Dave Zura, the COO of Allsup. One thing he talked about that really stuck out to me was that many businesses in their early years, struggle to stay afloat and even sometimes fail. Just because a business fails initially doesn't mean you should stop trying, because you can make any business happen with thought and passion behind it.
Later in the week Reva Faber who is a social worker came in to talk to us. It was very interesting to see how our personality was analyzed and how accurate it was. This Analysis really pointed out a lot of my strengths and weaknesses that I may overlook in my everyday life, and I'm very glad that Mrs. Faber was able to come visit our class.
The end of the week was very interesting as it was our first class that was not at Allsup. Instead we visited Mr. Lowery at Northwestern Mutual. Out of the very insightful discussion there were some key things that really stuck out to me. Those being the 3 “I’s”; Independence, Income Opportunity, and Impact. These three “I’s”were the key features when finding the right job for you, so that you can be driven in the workplace place and love what you are doing.
Overall this First week of the CEO class was an amazing experience, and I am more than excited to find out what's in store for the weeks to come.
