Week 5 - Sept. 14-18
Holland Construction Services Tour
Mr. Mike Marchal, President
Holland Construction Services – Investor
The Holland Construction tour was very beneficial to the CEO class. Mr. Marchal enlightened us about how to treat employees right and the concept of “if you are happy at home, you're happy at work.” He also talked about safety in the workplace and employee satisfaction. Overall Mr. Marchal taught our class about great business practices for our future business.

Dr. Jeff Dosier
Dist. 201 Superintendent
Belleville Township High School
On Thursday, District 201's Superintendent Jeff Doiser talked to the students about social media and the Internet. By using examples on the CEO and the district websites, he showed the students both ideal and poor aspects; including out of date information and establishing a good first impression before moving onto the importance of a good Internet reputation on social media platforms. He then discussed how District 201 uses social media platforms such as Twitter to keep the students up to date for emergency events such as snow days. Dr. Doiser concluded his presentation by speaking of the real life contact in the business world such as covering nonverbal ques and soft skills. Thank you for visiting our class, Dr. Dosier!
