Since the beginning of CEO, I’ve always known I was a quiet person—but deep down, I had the confidence to shine one day. I’ve grown so much as a person, student, and entrepreneur. I’ve become wiser, more confident, more encouraging, and more comfortable sharing my opinions. I’ve learned to work better with others through communication, teamwork, and independence. These skills helped me grow and discover who I am.
I truly believe I’ve become a confident, hardworking, and independent young woman. CEO helped me become more comfortable speaking with others, even outside the program. I’ve learned a lot about how business works. The skills I’ve developed most are confidence, communication, and teamwork. I still need to improve my time management, but the progress I’ve made makes me proud. These skills will continue to grow and benefit me in the future.
This year’s trade show was a success for my business! I do wish my mom hadn’t added more inventory—one thing I learned is not to overstock. Too much inventory can be a setback.
CEO has slowly brought me out of my comfort zone. I’m getting better at talking to people and connecting with strangers. Since 2021, my dad had a dream of our family starting a business. He passed away before it could happen, but now I’m carrying on that dream. I think he’d be proud of me.
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is how to work with others who have different strengths and opinions. Not everyone agrees, and sometimes ideas seem strange—but everyone deserves to be heard. In CEO, we learned how to listen, communicate, and come to agreements as a team.
CEO has been an amazing experience. I wish I could go back and do it all over again. I’m grateful for everything I’ve learned and can’t wait to apply it in the future.
