Through the CEO program, I’ve grown more intelligent and aware of how to better manage my time and money. I’ve learned to pay closer attention to deadlines and expectations. While I value independence, I realized that not asking for help can hold me back. Working with others often leads to better solutions, and I’ve learned that success is often a team effort.

One of my biggest improvements has been in public speaking. I’ve grown more confident presenting in front of groups and learned not to over-explain. I’ve become more observant of my surroundings and better at reading the room, which helps me communicate more effectively.

When facing challenges, I try to retrace my steps to spot issues. However, I’ve learned that sometimes I need a second pair of eyes to help me see what I missed. CEO has made me more resourceful and more aware of the support system around me. It’s also taught me how business works—even without much preparation or prior knowledge.

For our class business, I contributed as part of the design team by helping create the signs and medals for the 5K. This experience taught me how much more effective people are when placed in roles they enjoy or understand well. People who like what they’re doing tend to perform better than those who are simply capable but uninterested.

CEO also taught me how to prioritize—what needs to be done first and what can wait. I developed a calm mindset that I know will help me in the future. In stressful situations, it’s important to stay composed. Whether I’m short on time or stuck on a task, sometimes taking a break or seeking input from someone else is the best solution.

My ideas made an impact when I offered suggestions like, “What if we look at it from this perspective?” and encouraged others to think through possible challenges. This program helped me discover what I truly enjoy and how to express it with confidence.
