JR's Lawncare and Landscaping

JR’s Lawncare and Landscaping

Specializing in residential lawncare services

Owner Antwan Stith launched his business last summer.  He explains how JR’s Lawncare and Landscaping got started, “One day a neighbor was very busy and also was having trouble with their lawnmower so they asked if I would cut their lawn until they could find the time to purchase their own lawnmower. After completing the job for them, they were pleased and invited me back on a consistent basis.  As time passed, one of the ways my aunt and I were able to continue our bond would be on the weekends when she would pick me up to cut her grass. After several times, her neighbor was impressed and inquired about lawn service. Initially, I only worked sporadically due to my busy schedule.  After my Junior year, I wanted a job but I also enjoyed volunteering and participating in missions since I needed the flexibility.   My aunt suggested that I start a lawn service. I discussed it with my mother and she began to use social media to find jobs. Over the summer, I was able to build up my clientele and got that feel for working independently.  While my aunt assisted me mostly, I was able to make money to purchase the necessities I needed for my travel to Africa.  This year my goal is to establish an LLC, increase clientele, and hire at least one additional staff person.”

JR’s Lawncare and Landscaping offers many services but the prices vary from lawn to lawn depending on size and how much maintenance is needed.  These services incude hedges, weed spraying, lining the yard, raking, mowing, mulching, watering, weeding, etc.  Make sure that you stop by JR’s Lawncare and Landscaping booth on April 19 at the Belleville CEO Trade Show to get your quote!  Ask about a $10 off combo.
