About Me

Hello there! My name is Ava Gasawski and I am a Senior at Althoff Catholic High School. I am very involved in my school and community as a member of the Althoff girls tennis and cheer teams, National Honor Society, Student Ambassadors, St. Clair County Teen Court, and Executive Member of the Cardinal Glennon Guild Junior Board. I enjoy spending my free time reading, volunteering for various organizations, shopping, spending time with friends and family, and trying new things.

I first heard of Belleville CEO during my Sophomore year when it came time for the 2025 CEO Trade Show. I remember thinking how cool it was that other kids at my school were creating their own businesses, selling products and services to the community, and making money. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I wanted that for myself, too! Until I looked into the program more, I didn’t realize that Belleville CEO is so much more than just a Personal Business. Through CEO alumni testimonies, I realized the lessons learned and relationships built during CEO are ones that last long after the program is over, helping you in any endeavor you pursue in the future.

As of now, I plan to attend Murray State University and major in Nursing. I aspire to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Although this program isn’t directly related to my career aspirations, I strongly believe that Belleville CEO will allow me to improve my public speaking and communication skills, make connections with various types of people in my community, and build my confidence. I am truly grateful to be a part of such a unique and impactful program and look forward to experiencing all that it has to offer!
