About Me

Hello! My name is Malia Tigue and I am a senior at Althoff Catholic High School. In my free time I love to hangout with friends, hike, listen to music, or do anything arts and crafts related. I’m involved in numerous extracurricular activities; I am a dancer on Althoff’s dance team and previously did competitive gymnastics for 11 years. I am also a co-founder of Althoff’s Women in Stem club, a member of the National Honors Society, an Executive/Communication Leader on the Cardinal Glennon Junior Board, as well as being involved in a few other clubs.

Upon first hearing about Belleville CEO through a board member, it immediately sparked my interest. Similarly, year after year I heard about the impact of the program on the senior classes ahead of me, and realized that I would be blessed to have such an opportunity for myself. I signed up for Belleville CEO because I believe it will teach me a numerous amount of new skills in and outside the professional world that will prepare me for the future. After high school, I plan to attend college and study Civil Engineering. Then hopefully soon after, apply the principles I’ve learned here and open my own engineering firm!
