Throughout my experience in Belleville CEO, I have grown not only in my business skills, but also in my social abilities and overall as a person. The program has truly opened my eyes to the opportunities around the Belleville area and introduced me to career paths that I had never even considered before. Before joining CEO, I was unsure of what options were really out there, but now I have a much broader understanding of what is possible and what I can pursue in the future. Because of CEO, I no longer fear public speaking or interacting with new people. Over the past several months, I’ve noticed a big change in myself—I’ve become the one who starts conversations, something that would have been very difficult for me just a year ago. That shift alone has made a huge difference in how I carry myself and how I approach new situations. CEO has pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible, helping me become more confident and more willing to engage with others. This growth in confidence has allowed me to be more sure of myself and more open when meeting people I otherwise might have avoided talking to. I’ve learned how important it is to build connections and take initiative, both of which are skills I know will benefit me long-term. In addition to personal growth, CEO introduced me to important aspects of starting and running a business that I had never thought about before.
