This year, CEO impacted me in ways that went far beyond what I initially believed this program would bring me. It changed how I see myself, how I work with others, and how I approach challenges. At the beginning of the program, I didn’t see myself as a naturally social or extroverted person. However, through constant interaction, collaboration, and stepping into unfamiliar situations, I realized that I can be that person. I became more open to new experiences and more willing to engage in meaningful conversations, which helped me grow not just as a student, but as an individual.
One of the most valuable skills I developed was leadership. Through my role in the operations committee, I contributed to important aspects of our class business, including logistics, planning, communication, and venue organization. This experience showed me that leadership in a real-world setting is very different from leadership in school clubs. It requires adaptability, accountability, and the ability to work with a wide range of personalities and recognize the value in others’ ideas.
Even though I didn’t face one huge challenge, I still had to work through smaller struggles, especially when creating my personal business. It was hard at first to come up with an idea, but I kept thinking about it until something finally clicked. That taught me that not everything comes easily, and sometimes you just have to stay patient and trust the process and believe in yourself despite your lack of faith previously.
Looking ahead, CEO has influenced my future by equipping me with skills in leadership, organization, and communication that will support me in any field, including medicine. Even though business and healthcare may seem unrelated, the mindset and discipline I’ve developed will continue to shape my growth.
Most importantly, CEO showed me the power of collaboration. My classmates made this experience meaningful, and together, we supported each other through every success and challenge.
