Joining Belleville CEO this year was one of the best decisions I made during high school. At the beginning of the year, I was nervous to step outside of my comfort zone and talk to business owners and professionals, but this class helped me grow more confident in myself every single week. I learned how to communicate better, work with different people, and take opportunities even when they seemed intimidating at first. One of the biggest things I will take away from this program is how much mindset matters. Belleville CEO taught me that success does not happen overnight. It takes hard work, consistency, and being willing to learn from mistakes. Throughout the year, we visited many different businesses, listened to guest speakers, and experienced real situations that showed me what it actually takes to run a business and be a leader. Hearing different stories from entrepreneurs made me realize that everyone starts somewhere, and
failure is not the end if you keep pushing forward. This class also helped me grow personally. I became more independent, responsible, and motivated to work toward my goals. I learned how important networking and relationships are, and how valuable it is to put yourself out there even when it feels uncomfortable. Some of my favorite memories came from working with my classmates, planning events, and creating our businesses together. Those experiences taught me lessons I could never learn from a normal classroom. Looking back on this year, I can honestly say Belleville CEO changed the way I see myself and my future. It pushed me to believe in my abilities and gave me skills that I will carry with me long after graduation. I know the lessons I learned in this program will continue to help me in both my personal and professional life.
