Throughout my time in the Belleville CEO program I have learned a lot from the countless business visits and guest speakers I have got to listen to, and I have gained valuable insight from hearing about their experiences. I have also learned a great deal from my class’s talent show and from working on my personal business. Through these experiences, I have learned the importance of taking risks, staying persistent through challenges, and learning from failure. I also gained insight into different leadership styles and the value of building strong relationships and networking in the business world.
The program has helped me develop stronger time management skills. Balancing school, CEO responsibilities, and my personal business required me to plan ahead and use my time efficiently. Whether it was preparing for business visits, meeting deadlines, or organizing my daily baking schedule, I learned how to prioritize my tasks and stay disciplined. This growth has helped me become more productive and reliable, and it has pushed me to stay focused even when my schedule becomes busy, which is something I struggled with at the beginning of the program.
Working on my personal business has also taught me responsibility and has helped me to keep improving time management. I learned how to set goals, manage my time wisely, and stay committed even when things became challenging. Through this process, I also gained a better understanding of problem-solving and adaptability, as not everything went as planned and I had to adjust along the way.
Overall, the Belleville CEO program has helped me grow not only as a student but also as an individual preparing for the future. The lessons I have learned about teamwork, time management, and perseverance will stay with me beyond this experience. I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given and the connections I have made, and I know these experiences will continue to help as I move onto college.
