Since the beginning of this year I have grown as a person, a student, and an entrepreneur. I have grown as a person because of the new people I met. While doing this, I have gathered their ideas and points of view on certain aspects. I have applied their views into my own life. The experiences from this class will shape the person I will become. As a student, CEO has taught me to work hard at what I’m doing no matter if I enjoy it or not. Many times I have procrastinated on doing work that I don’t enjoy, but the work ethic CEO has taught me contradicts that. I have grown as an entrepreneur because I have learned things about business I would have never thought of before. Meeting these people has made me want to be like them and work even harder at what I do. CEO also taught me how to make an impact and gave me a chance to make an impact. Whether that was giving people ideas for their small business or the class business. People used some of my ideas in their small business and I think it impacted them a lot. Whether that was pricing or something they said in their pitch. I was taught how to make a bigger impact by the example of the CEOs we met. They chose to take time out of their day to make an impact on us and teach us something new. Most of the people we met emphasized the importance of giving back to the community that built them. CEO helped me build resilience by teaching me to work as hard as I can on my business even when things get hard. Many business owners we met didn’t make it the first time, they failed then kept working at it. This sets a great example and lesson for the students trying to build their business.
