How did Belleville CEO impact me? Whenever I joined CEO, I joined because I wanted to learn how to be more understanding and to get the tools to live and make it on my own. CEO has taught me how to advocate for myself. Through the pitches and commercials I was taught how to communicate properly and clearly. Through the business visits I've heard countless stories of how business owners have found success and independence. Despite having lived here my whole life I feel like, compared to before, I have learned an incredible amount about Belleville and its businesses. I have become much more confident with being in uncomfortable places. I also feel like I have developed so many practical business skills like pitching, planning, and selling. I am now much more comfortable with my ability to now speak up and advocate for myself in front of new people. It was something I had a hard time doing, but now since I am able to it has made my life in general better. CEO has also taught me how to run a business. I learned how to make a business plan and through business visits and guest speakers I’ve learned the important components to running a successful business. I’ve learned to play to my strengths and not let my weaknesses define me. Before CEO I have had really bad time management and this has helped me develop a better understanding of how to be on time and not procrastinate. The challenges I’ve faced have helped me understand that you have to speak up and that difficulties will come you just cant let them stop you. CEO has helped me grow into a person I am proud of, I am incredibly grateful and appreciative of the experience.
