About Me

My name is Jakayla Gordon and I am a senior at Belleville East. My hobbies include reading, traveling, spending time with my family, and making long-lasting memories. I am an active member of Empower Me and a previous member of FBLA, which was the starting point of my interest in business. I first heard about the Belleville CEO program through my brother, a CEO member from the class of 2025. Hearing about all the fun times, and some difficult ones, showed me that Belleville CEO would be the best program for me to not only connect with my community, but also to help me build my future. After high school, I am looking forward to going into the field of healthcare and possibly opening my own private practice someday. I know that no matter what my path is in life, I will always be able to apply the knowledge that is taught in CEO.
